What our client says about us

I am very thankful to Vitalcare Support for their social and daily household support. They helped me with tasks like cooking, cleaning, shopping, and personal care. They were very friendly, respectful, and compassionate. They also encouraged me to participate in social activities and hobbies that I enjoy. They made me feel more independent and confident. They are the best NDIS support service I have ever used.

FAQ

NDIS

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, is a government programme which provides funding for a wide variety of disability support services and other supports. Under the programme, anyone who has a disability will be eligible for NDIS funding amounts to pay for the care or supports they need to maximise their quality of life

The NDIA, or National Disability Insurgence Agency, is the government agency in charge of handling and implementing the NDIS. The NDIA can provide you with information, referrals to specific services, individual care plans, and more.
To access the NDIS, you need to get in touch with the NDIA. They will guide you through the process of applying, review your eligibility, and set you up with funding for your care plan. If you need more help with the application, please in touch with us.

Through the NDIS, you will receive funding for the specific services and support you need. There are no set levels for NDIS funding amounts. You will receive as all the necessary funding to pay for the care and support you need as determined with your NDIS planner.

Your NDIS funding can be used for a wide variety of different things, including:

The NDIA can help you understand all the services and supports which are available to you and how you can access them.

This will help them to recommend the right services for your needs. Assessors can also provide you with information relating to potential cost of aged care services including where to access the information you need. It’s also your chance to ask any questions. For example, you could raise any concerns you have related to receiving services including cultural considerations. You can also have a family member or friend present during your assessment.
Allied health services such as podiatry, physiotherapy, chiropractic and hydrotherapy are included under the HCP Program in the following instances:
• they are required due to age-related functional decline and/or entrant cannot access disability supports
• to assess the need for aids and equipment
